Pool deck pavers re-set along the coping
A section of this pool deck in St. Johns Golf & Country Club had come apart along the pool coping: pavers out of place, bedding sand exposed, and the fixture lids sitting proud of the surface. We re-set the section, brought it back level with the rest of the deck and re-sanded the joints, without draining the pool.
Before and after

What we did
Re-set on a proper bed, not just dropped back in
Pool deck repairs fail when the pavers go back onto loose sand. We screeded a fresh bedding layer, re-laid the section tight to the coping and the fixture lids, checked it level with the surrounding deck, then swept in joint sand and consolidated it.
The pool stayed full the whole time. Repairs like this start at $175 and are quoted after we see the deck.
- Displaced section lifted and bedding re-screeded
- Pavers re-laid flush to the coping and fixture lids
- Joint sand swept and consolidated
- Pool not drained; equipment and screen protected
