Travertine pool deck, lanai and outdoor kitchen, sealed
A travertine pool deck in Durbin Crossing that wraps the pool, runs under the covered lanai and across the outdoor kitchen floor. We cleaned it with stone-safe chemistry, let it dry fully, and sealed it with Trident Protects Cyclone, a penetrating sealer that keeps the natural matte look and lets the stone breathe. Pool left full.

What we did
Penetrating sealer, not a plastic film
Travertine is a porous limestone. The wrong product on it, an acid cleaner or a topical wet-look sealer, is damage, not maintenance. We cleaned with stone-safe chemistry at controlled pressure, waited for the stone to read dry, and applied Cyclone to the coverage rate.
The result looks like the stone did on day one, sheds water instead of soaking it in, and rinses clean next season instead of needing a restoration.
