How a restoration runs

Surface cleaner plus rust and organic-stain treatment. Algae, mildew and embedded dirt come out of the pores.
Sunken sections lifted, chipped or missing pavers replaced and matched to your existing installation.
Polymeric sand swept in and activated, locking pavers together against washout, weeds and ants.
Commercial-grade sealer in the finish you choose — wet look, semi-gloss or natural matte — applied to the manufacturer's specified rate.
Also available to existing customers

PD Home Pros is a service-area business based in Saint Augustine. We travel to you — no showroom visit needed. Surfaces weather differently across the county, and that changes what your job actually needs.
Our home base. Older installations here often need paver repair and re-basing before anything else — decades of settling on sandy soil.
Salt air and blown sand break sealer down faster than inland. Beach-side decks usually sit at the short end of the two-to-three year resealing window.
Mature landscaping means leaf tannin and irrigation rust staining. Both need targeted treatment during cleaning, not just pressure.
Oceanfront exposure is the harshest surface environment in the county. We spec sealer accordingly rather than using one product everywhere.
Newer construction, and a lot of original paver driveways now coming due for their first proper seal. Catching them before the joint sand washes out saves the repair stage entirely.
Large paver driveways and pool decks. Scale is where a measured, written price matters most — square footage adds up quickly.
Heavy tree cover drives organic staining and algae growth on shaded decks and walkways. Cleaning here is a treatment job, not a rinse.
The northern edge of our range. We take paver restoration and garage floor work throughout the south side and Mandarin.
The southern edge of our range, and worth the drive for full restoration jobs. Call and we'll tell you honestly whether we can get to you.

About
I grew up in a house that was falling apart — rotted floors, exposed wiring, some months no power or water. Nobody was coming to fix any of it, so you learned to.
That's why I do this work. Five years in the Marine Corps sharpened it into a standard: prepare properly, do the job right, answer for the people counting on you. Today we have a crew, and my job is making sure every job is done the way I would do it.
Questions
What homeowners around the county ask us most.
We don't add a travel charge within our core St. Johns County service area, including Ponte Vedra, Ponte Vedra Beach, Nocatee, World Golf Village and Fruit Cove. Jacksonville and Palm Coast sit at the edges of our range — we take those jobs, and we'll tell you on the phone if scheduling makes it impractical rather than quoting you and backing out.
Every two to three years for most installations. Our sun, humidity and summer storms break sealer down faster than northern climates. Beachfront properties in St. Augustine Beach and Ponte Vedra Beach are at the short end of that range because salt air accelerates it further.
Almost never. It's the base underneath. Sandy North Florida soil and heavy rain wash out the bedding layer, and the pavers follow it down. Re-laying them without re-compacting the base just buys you a year. This is the most common issue we see on older Saint Augustine properties.
Usually algae and organic staining, common on tree-covered lots in Fruit Cove and Ponte Vedra. It needs a treatment applied to the growth itself, not just pressure — blasting it off removes the surface and leaves the spores behind to return within months.
Probably not. We see plenty of original driveways in Nocatee and World Golf Village that have never been touched. If the joint sand has washed out, that gets replaced as part of the restoration. Pavers themselves are durable enough that unsealed rarely means unsalvageable.
Yes, and ask us for our license and insurance details and we'll provide them. We're a veteran-owned business based in Saint Augustine, and the business is owner-operated rather than run through subcontracted crews.
